Inside Busch Stadium

Our family had the wonderful opportunity to go on a private tour, inside and out, of Busch Stadium. Jason was beyond excited, and the boys fed off of that excitement.

Open Gym

Just a few pictures of Rhylan enjoying himself at "gymnastics". There is a huge academy here that opens up exclusively for toddler playtime on Fridays. He and I have gone the past couple of weeks, and he absolutely loves it!

The BIG Cheese

The boys have been extremely excited that we have a Chuck E. Cheese within 5 minutes of the house- vs. the hour's drive that we had before. (And, yes, somehow Rhylan even knows and recognizes the mouse, though I don't believe he had ever been to one!)

Tonight Jason and I took the boys there, as a way to reward them for EXCELLENT behavior for Halloween pictures (to follow once we get the scanner hooked up). Needless to say, they had a great time, as did we watching them enjoy themselves so thoroughly!!!

Family Dinner

We very rarely seem to have a whole family picture, so I thought I would post a recent one. Last night we went to dinner with guests that were visiting from England, had a wonderful time! Here we are, all FOUR Atkissons, enjoying the company (and later a wonderful meal)!

Brayden's First Cardinal Game

Train ride to the city: $2.25
Lunch and Drinks with friends: $30
One ticket to an almost sold out Cards/Cubs game: $45
Brayden enjoying his first Baseball game with his Daddy: PRICELESS!!!

Seeing as we just moved from the "land of the divided" when it comes to baseball, it was only fitting that Jason's old company chose a Cards/Cubs game to make a bus trip to see. We decided to take our family down to meet everyone before the game, catch up, and have a couple of drinks with friends from "back home". Once we got there, we found out there was an extra ticket for the game available, so I quickly told Jason to use it and stay with his friends- that I would bring the boys back home on the train.

After lunch, the boys and I were saying Good-Bye to Daddy, and Brayden became really upset- he wanted to stay to watch the game, and hang out with his friends. Who could blame him?! Friends from home, the team Daddy idolizes (and he idolizes Daddy), the excitement of Major League Ball.

Mmmmm, Cotton Candy!

Side by Side- 26 Months

It has been brought to my attention that I haven't done a comparison of the boys, at the same age, in quite some time. So, I have gone through to try to find some snap shots of just regular day to day life- nothing professional, to do a little comparison of them at 26 months. So, what do you think? Look alike, not so much, or some resemblance?

Family Day at Six Flags

Brayden has been begging to go back to Six Flags. So, we figured that a holiday weekend, when Jason was around, would make a perfect family day. And perfect it was- perfect weather, perfectly behaved children, and NO crowds what-so-ever. We had such a great time, and even Rhylan has been talking about it non stop since! (Especially about the Scooby Doo ride; well, in Rhylan speak the "DoDo Doo" ride!)

And lastly, our little guy on the carousel (I LOVE this picture of him, by the way!)

Splashing Around

The boys were able to enjoy the Splash Pad at our neighborhood park before it closed for the season. I think they had a pretty good time, what do you think?!?!

Off Roadin'

Just a few pictures of the boys "4 wheeling" through the terrain of our back yard. Since the swingset didn't make the move with us, the Jeep has been getting much more attention.
