Red Belt Test

We are so proud of Brayden!! Even with the move, and a total change in technique, he has continued to excel in his Martial Arts training. Only 9 kids (out of about 40) from his class were asked to take the test to be promoted to the next belt level. He has been working hard: practicing the kicks/stances, memorizing creeds/rules/mottos, and the hard work paid off..... He is now a red belt!!!

C-U visit

We were fortunate enough to sell our house in C-U in just under 3 weeks on the market, AND fortunate enough to have our closing fall on the weekend of the annual hayrack ride with my Mom's Group. The whole family had a wonderful, wonderful time catching up, and spending time with our wonderful friends up there. We are so blessed to have them all in our lives!

New "Do"s

We found the CUTEST kid's hair place this week!

Rhylan was in desperate need of a haircut, so as I was driving to a local shopping center to find a walk - in hair place, I happend to see a little shop on the side of the road that specializes in Kiddie Cuts. I called the number on the sign, and luckily they had an appointment available right then. The experience was more than I could have imagined- so cute!! All of the chairs were cars/ATVs/etc., they let the kids choose a DVD to watch (or video game for the older set). Rhylan had so much fun- totally worth the whopping $2 more than we would spend for a "regular" place!

Upon coming home, and uploading the above pictures, Brayden declared "I want my hair cut there too, Momma!!!". To which I obliged..........
