The Birthday That Doesn't End

I am sure that you are starting to wonder how long a certain one year old will continue to celebrate his birthday- seems I have been posting about it for quite a while now. The answer is, I don't know! This may be the last of it, but no promises since he didn't see his Daddy or brother for the big day.

The official day did not go without notice, however! Ironically, we are here in my hometown, and some of our good friends from "home" were driving through here on their way to go on vacation, so they stopped to have lunch and celebrate his birthday- Complete with a big ice cream sundae and all of the kids singing Happy Birthday. It was extra special because one of the families are Rhylan's God-parents, and they were at a family reunion last weekend, so they had missed his party. It was really nice of everyone to stop, a very welcomed break from the "fun" we have been dealing with here with my Grandparents and Mom, and a way to make his first birthday special!
