Three wonderful friends of mine threw a beautiful baby shower for me today. It was really nice-- the shower itself, having friends and family there to help celebrate the upcoming arrival, feeling like a "normal" pregnant mommy for a few hours- it was just perfect beyond words! Thank you to all of you that helped make this day so special.
Jason had a double header baseball game out of town today, so Brayden came with me to the shower. He loved it, and was more than happy to help open gifts for his little brother. He also got some "big brother" gifts from Grandma's and Aunts, which were a big hit as well. Once we got home, he couldn't wait to show Daddy everything. He was so animated and excited to tell him all about what Rhylan got and how he is going to help take care of his baby.
This was the best day I have had in a long time!
